Yes, we have a large carpark at the rear of the building.
The carpark entry is off Trent Avenue, look for the ESCAPLEX PARKING sign.
Entry into Escaplex is at the side of the building.
Our escape rooms are a live experience. Players enter a themed room and work together to find the clues, solve the riddles and complete the puzzles & challenges within the room.
Games must commence on time, so it is important for all players to arrive in a timely manner. Lockers will be provided free of charge for all electronic devices and belongings. You will not need to bring in any items, including torches, paper and pens.
Before players can begin, everyone will be briefed on the rules and then game, along with the 60 minute countdown, will begin.
Our rooms have been designed to promote teamwork and often challenges require more than one person to complete them, so good communication is important. Everyone will need to work together if you want to “escape”.
If your team is successful, you will be congratulated over the audio system and a staff member will advise your escape time.
If your team does not escape within the 60 minutes, an audible message is played over your room to advise that your session time is up. Before escorting your group out, a staff member will walk your group through some, or all of the remaining challenges left to complete.
Afterwards, your group is welcome to take some photos in our green screen, self-serve, social booth. All photos are free and you can email them to yourself from our touchscreen TV. Photos are normally uploaded to our Facebook page within 24hrs. Please let staff know if you do not want your photos uploaded.
Very simply it means just that – NO KEYS or PADLOCKS!
Our rooms are fully automated, electronically controlled smart rooms.
Electronics, sensors and more have been integrated into our rooms and puzzles to give you an immersive experience.
It’s like being inside a computer game, where standard everyday items like microwaves, telephones, pictures, cupboards, taps, cooktops etc, are much more than they first appear.
Wheelchairs can access our reception, waiting rooms & bathroom areas only.
Unfortunately our escape rooms are not accessible for wheelchairs. They either require stair access, have limited space, or require you to climb over steps or objects to progress in the game, however we hope to be able to provide wheelchair accessible escape rooms in the future.
We do not offer any party packages or have “party rooms” for hire.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted (except water bottles).

All gift voucher purchases can be customized after purchase and then be printed or emailed.
If you prefer to pick up a voucher from our business, please call or email ahead to arrange.
When redeeming gift vouchers please note that the discount will apply at the end of the booking. You’ll need to select your date and session first and follow all the booking steps. The discount will then be applied when you are ready to pay.

Each session takes approximately 1hr 15mins.
All participants will be briefed, before they begin.
Participants will have 60 minutes in the escape room. If teams do not complete all the challenges, staff will walk teams through the remaining challenges.
After the escape game, groups are welcome to use our complimentary social booth.
Your booking is private and you will only be in the room with the people that you book for.
We may have other groups that book the same session time as you, but they will play in different rooms to your group.

Our recommendations on maximum group size are for the benefit and value for all players, however if you wish to forgo our recommendation and add an extra player, we will allow it. Book your room for the maximum amount of people, and let staff know on the day that you would like to add an extra player.

We are always happy to accommodate and are pretty flexible.
You can add players to your booking, so long as you do not exceed our maximum group size for your room selection.

All our escape rooms need to be cleaned, reset and ready to go before every session. Therefore it is important for your game to commence on time and everyone should arrive no later than your scheduled booking time.
If you arrive late, your 60 minutes of escape time will be reduced by the amount of time you are late, as to not impose on the next groups session time.
If anyone in your group is running late, the game will still start as scheduled and we can place them into the game on their arrival.
If you are running more than 30 minutes late, unfortunately there is not enough time to play and your group will not be able to commence at all. Your booking will be deemed a No-Show and no refunds will be provided.
We do accept bookings outside our standard session times, and can accommodate up to 30 people per session.
Pricing is $35 per person.
Minimum of 10 people required, or minimum charge of $350 for less than 10 people.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancelled bookings will result in payment being forfeited, no refunds will be provided.
RESCHEDULNG
Bookings may be rescheduled up to 48hrs prior to your booked session time. Bookings may be rescheduled up to 2 times and the reschedule date must be within 2 months from original booking.
Bookings will not be refunded or rescheduled with less than 48hrs notice from your booked session time, or if you do not arrive for your allocated booking time. Any fee paid will be deemed a cancellation fee.
REFUNDS
No refund will be provided if you have less people arrive on the day, therefore we strongly suggest you confirm your numbers prior to paying in full, or pay for 10 players at time of booking and pay for remaining players on the day.
Escaplex is only open during booked sessions and bookings are limited.
To avoid disappointment, please call or book ahead of time.
For short notice bookings please contact us via phone, or email, and we will do our best to fit you in.

Children are welcome to play. All participants aged 5+ will be considered paying participants.
Participant(s) 15 yrs old or younger, must have at least one paying participating adult (18+) per group/room.
Children aged 4 and under are not permitted, unless in a restraint for the FULL experience. Please decide if this is something that will suit your group.

We have ambience music suited to the theme of the room, which can sometimes cause younger players to feel a little anxious, or frightened.
Most suitable room/s for younger participants is Deadly Dinner, or Jubilee Heist.
The entry and exit doors do lock while the game is in session, but we have a number of safety features installed so you are never completely locked in and you are free to leave the game at any time.
Quite simply NO! The rooms are electronically controlled, which means when you complete challenges correctly, lighting can change, there are sound effects, drawers & doors open by themselves. There are no live actors or jump-scares. Our rooms are designed to be intriguing & mysterious and perhaps to some – a little creepy.
You can’t go wrong with any of our rooms, they have all been carefully designed to make teams work together and each contain a good variety of puzzles and challenges for your team to play.
Jubilee Heist and Deadly Dinner are more achievable with approximately 49% of teams completing all challenges within 60 minutes. Both these rooms are suitable for all ages.
Picture Imperfect is a little creepier feel and best for ages 13 years or older. Approximately 38% of teams complete all the challenges within 60 minutes.
Wild West has more challenges to complete than any of the other rooms. Approximately 25% of teams will complete all the challenges within 60 minutes. This room is suitable for all ages.

Prices are per room and all bookings are private, meaning you are only playing with the group you book for.
2 x Players = $55 per person (regardless of age)
+ $20 per person for players 5-12yrs old

Refunds are not provided if someone doesn’t turn up on the day, therefore we strongly suggest booking for a 2-player game and pay for the remaining players on the day.
